This swaddling blanket set is made with dual layers of organic cotton muslin that is finely woven but yet very durable.  The muslin creates a waffle effect when washed and gets softer with each additional washing. The large size (47" x 47") allows for multiple uses including a mother's privacy while nursing, sun shade, a summertime blanket or portable crib sheet.   Doctors recommend the use of lightweight wraps to help prevent overheating and to reduce the risk of SIDs.  These are available in a three package set of pastels for girls.
