This standard natural and organic rubber crib mattress is all natural and contains no chemical additives. The rubber is firm and supportive and is the required 5-6" thick to meet all safety requirements set forth by the Consumer Protection Safety Commission (CPSC) and all federal guidelines. The  inner wool layer is quilted to the organic cotton outer as a natural flame retardant. The core is natural rubber and is surrounded by long staple, hand picked organic cotton and the pure wool is sheared from organically raised sheep.
